“Art is not in the eye of the beholder. It's in the soul of the artist.”
- Seth Godin
Since moving to Vancouver Island, I have been inspired by the incredible creatures that inhabit the ocean. From the giant Pacific octopus to the bull kelp floating on the waves, all of these elements influence my work.
Underwater landscapes are known to evoke feelings of tranquility and connection to nature. I create these artworks because they bring me a sense of calm, and I hope that viewers experience the same feeling.
I use the colors and patterns I observe in the surrounding ocean to capture the magic and beauty of marine life using acrylic paint, inks, washi paper, and wood.

Thank you for stopping by and letting me share a piece of my soul with you.

Enjoy!
